15 Years of Standing Up

Fundraising Affair

We would like to cordially invite you to celebrate Georgia STAND-UP’s 15th Anniversary Fundraising event Thursday, November 14th, 2019 and our Community Day Party Friday, November 15th.

When Georgia STAND-UP began, we had no idea that fifteen years later such a modest undertaking with very uncertain prospects would become a pioneering force for progressive change in the South, and an inspiring example for progressive advocates across the country. In those fifteen years, STAND-UP has initiated some of the most innovative and effective strategies for expanding voter participation, and providing skills training, and access to jobs, while also demanding economic inclusion and equity by ramping up the fight against displacement of legacy residents in urban communities threatened by gentrification. As a valued friend and supporter, this will be an opportunity for you to join the STAND-UP family in acknowledging the important milestones that we, working together, have achieved.

STAND-UP looks forward to celebrating with you!
