June Alliance Meeting a Success

Thank you to everyone who attended the Georgia STAND-UP June Alliance Meeting Friday the 25th.
Community Leaders and Advocates arrived ready to discuss Good Jobs, Sustainable Workforce Development and Local Hiring.  We were joined by Rev. Dr. Richard Cobble, New President of Concerned Black Clergy of Metro Atlanta, and Rannie Fort of Georgia Trade-UP to discuss the importance of the Jobs Policy. Elected officials, leaders and advocates stepped forward to state their support for the Atlanta Community Benefits Jobs Policy.
Now, eleven Council Members have signed the Community Benefits Jobs Policy.  Our work is not finished! Four more members need to support local residents and sign this policy! For more information on the Atlanta Community Benefits Jobs Policy, council members who still have not signed the policy and how you can support us please view our One-Pager.
You can also Sign our PETITION! By siging this, your name will be written on a post card supporting the Jobs Policy and will be sent to City Council.
